PetroChina사의 주가는 최초 상장가격인 16.7 위안의 세배인 43.96 위안($5.90)에 마감되었다.
PetroChina 시가는 종가기준 1조 달러 이상으로 4,880억 달러의 자본을 가지고 있는 ExxonMobil사를 앞질렀다.
PetroChina 주식은 이미 홍콩달러로 표시되는 홍콩 H주로 홍콩에 상장되어 있으며, 뉴욕 증권거래소에도
상장이 되어 있는 상태이다.
한편, 시가총액으로 세계최대의 회사임에도 불구하고 PetroChina의 수익성은 ExxonMobil의
절반수준인 것으로 나타났다. 2007년 PetroChina의 상반기 순이익은 ExxonMobil의 195.4억 달러의
절반인 108억 달러 수준으로 알려졌다.
